Furones real birtday.

Because he fluked us so bad the day before. Nobody cares about Furones birthday anymore.
Well yeah. "That happens when you f#!k a stranger in the ass".
So we drive our bikes for 30 minutes on the freeway to arrive to one of the best looking spots of the tour.
Amazing colorful mosaic banks. Sam rips it in 10 minutes and Hugo as well in 30 ! Next up is the crazy tall bank spot with bad ground and no speed to get to it. Well, just need a couple of scooters ! Thanks to Steve and Gabeeb, our drivers. Hugo, Michel, Julian and Sam managed to pull their tricks riding at 35 km/per hour !!! That was a cool day ! Later that night our Spanish friend German tried an insane gap to 50 50 and did not make it. But we know he will come back. Last night at the park and then late drinking at our house. Killed 100 beers with our friends. Then drove back north from 8 in the morning.
Thanks to everyone involved close or far to this tour. It was hella fun and see you next year for one more Hoboing from your favorite Antiz Eastpak Hobo's !

Skatepark day !

Today we went and warm up to the great new skatepark of Chiclana. More important is that Furones is faking is birthday. Basically Sam said that it's Furo's birthday so he went with it. Liar ! I even got him a birthday cake... So in fact it's the next day !
So of we go to some more spots. Yep, we go back to the barrier to finish what we had started !
Our tricks ! That goes well. Our friends Alberto "Negro" and Ignacio "Nachete" are hanging out with "Palmero". Don't know his name, sorry. Palmero use to skate in the 80's then became a bit mad and started to drink much too much. These days, he is around 40 and skates again with the Chiclanians. He is into downhill. You'll see in the video clip that will be ready pretty soon !

BARRIER'S ARE COOL.

So yeah, we skate this barrier today and it is great ! After 40 minutes of session, pretty much every one of us is about to land a sick trick. No. We see some rain coming at us a kilometer away. It is on us in 10 seconds so everybody is soaked. Stoked. So we ride mopeds home with our feet going "swootch, swootch...". That night we played poker and were stoked that Steve was there. He was the only one who knew the rules. Good to now that these guys have no problem with Gambling. Perhaps with beer !

Some of our scooters !

Da Street Marketing "as it best !!"... Those scooters are bad ass. One goes 80km/h and the other one 40. That is so convenient for longer distance spot search. So we were going on snail pace... Easy, easy.

STREET GAP DAY

God damn it. It's raining again ! What can I say really... Well, we did go to a street gap. Skated there all day. Some tricks went down even thought the high humidity factor ! Special mention to Steve who did a new trick just going for it. Must take notice that at one point, you just gotta not care and land !
Well, street gap is done so now we venture around San Fernando. We find a really cool wave spot where Loic manages to fold his fingers pretty bad. Actually, it's our friend Alberto "Negro" who showed us the spot. Nachete and him are the dudes in town who knows pretty much anything. That same very night, we go against hobo laws and go to the restaurant. WHAT ? Some will say. Well, yes, sometimes a hobo does it.

TRANSFER DAY.

We go to Chiclana which is basically close to Cadiz. Day is pretty much hell. It rains all day. We are all hang-overed and we had to give back the rental house. Which means we had to clean it but mostly not been seen 14 dudes instead of 7. All good in the end. We get to stay in the house of Pitu. He is so cool. Him and his lady are gonna have a baby ! Congratulations ! Well, we are at the house and it's good cuz we are gonna cook. Cosy times for the hobos it rains !

WE ARE GOING OFF.

For some reason, I can't remember much from that day. Where did we go skate ? Who did what ? Do you really care ? Don't you want to hear about our drunken night at the Flamenco Bar where we witnessed a pure and intense Flamenco concert with a tremendous great grand lady dancer with very intimidating eyes as well as a bunch of whiskey shots and also an American girl who wanted to join us on the tour and an arm wrestle contest between the team with Paul our filmer being the strongest (of course he holds that heavy camera all day) and then the highlight ! Steve and Gabeeb ultra drunk crashes scooter number 2 trying to do slides on the wet pavement. Yeah right ! Oh, tricks ? I think it rained all day, man.

Hum, cloudy day...

Crew wakes up a little late today. Mayday, it's a grey day. We are off anyway and get to some sketchy bank spot that Edu (our Sevillian friend and guide) shows us thinking we won't skate it because it is too difficult to skate. Well, give a hobo some bank and he will shred it ! Special mention to Sam and Juju killing it ! Oh, we got one helmet stolen... Nice one Michel ! Hobos just go skate leaving their helmets on the top of their scooters ! After we went to this really big rail and Hugo devirginize the tallest and unskated one. Cool ! Photo in Kingpin magazine soon.

Dykmans stays home still sick. Crew goes to check some amazing spots. Gabeeb rips and does a huge wallie over some hubba and stairs. Ben The, our art skateboard man, does a really tall hippy jump to a bank and impress us all. At night, barbecue is ready, meat and beers are on !
Premiere of Sam Partaix Skateshop video Skate Pistols ! It's a sick one !

We got our mopeds !

Stoked ! We are off for some Sevillano skating. Things are going good. Furones does a crazy drop in and soon after heel bruise himself heelflippping on 4 huge blocks ! Furones out ! Dykmans got food poisoned in Barcelona and doesn't look very happy ! Skating some cool spots. Day his coming to an end.
We go to our house, 30 minutes out of Sevilla. It's a beautiful hacienda with a pool and a great property with a huge land of orange trees (we pick our oranges and make ourselves some juices everyday). We rented the house saying we are 7. We are in fact 14 ! HOBO !!! The house is filled of skaters in every corner !!! Oh, by the way. On the way to the house, one scooter broke and Michel Mahringer crashed his and himself on a dirt road. Luckily he is fine.

Hobo riders land in Sevilla.

Well, most of them ! Some of the crew is in a car driving from Barcelona. In the car, crazy driver Sem Rubio who actually drove the whole way himself. Sem will shoot the photos and feature a full hobo article in Kingpin. While some drive, others just chilled about the "Plaza de Armas" skatepark in Sevilla all day.
It's sunny today. Probably around 30 °c ! Tour is promising !!!

Eastpak presents the Antiz Hobo Riders

Eastpak has been supporting Antiz for some time now and this year we're stoked to say the whole team is getting ready to hit the road....on a bunch of super sketchy scooters!! Life sounds good for these boys!

There will be no vans or big motorbikes for the guys, no, no, just some old scooters for them to explore around Southern Spain and really hit some of the skate spots Andalucia will offer up.

Picture it: 10 hobos on 10 scooters for 10 days with nothing but an Eastpak bag with the bare essentials all searching for the ultimate in sketchy skate spots...hmmm, it's gonna be carnage!!

Come back soon to see more updates from the boys, photos and footage as well as to find out if any of them will manage to shower over the ten days....soap anyone?!
